The settings dialog allows you to enter the stocks that you wish to track. You can also set the update frequency, manage services and configure a proxy server.
The update frequency controls how often Catfood Quote connects to the Internet to receive updated quotes. Set the update frequency in minutes. You must be registered in order to take advantage of this feature.
Catfood Quote Services (*.cqs files) define how Catfood Quote gathers data from different web sites. Click the Services button to change settings, update or install new services.
Click the Proxy Server button to enter HTTP proxy server information. Most users will not need to alter the default proxy configuration - Catfood Quote will automatically use any proxy settings entered in Internet Explorer.
To add a stock symbol click the Add button. To edit or delete a stock symbol select it from the Symbols to track list and click Edit or Delete. You can also edit by double-clicking the symbol in the list.
