Catfood Desktate ships with two daytime maps of the world and one nighttime image. From version 2.20 we also include the NASA Blue Marble 2 monthly images. When Blue Marble 2 is selected Desktate will combine the images every day to show the extent of snow and ice cover throughout the year. If you want to try something new we keep an updated list of suitable images or you can use your own (geographic (Plate Caree) projection, zero degrees longitude at center of image).
