Click the browse button (...) to select the pictures to use for the day image and night images. The pictures should be centered on the prime meridian (0 degrees longitude). Catfood Desktate includes two day images and one night image. There are links to more images suitable for use with Desktate on the Catfood Software web site.
Select Automatic Blue Marble 2 (Monthly Images) to use the included imagery from NASA's Blue Marble 2 series. These images show the extent of snow and ice throughout the year. Desktate includes twelve images (in the bm2 sub folder) that will be combined to show an approximation of snow cover that is updated every day.
